“His response was to fight it with the only weapons at hand—passive resistance and open displays of contempt.” ― Kurt Vonnegut, The Sirens of Titan

Something fishy in Long Beach or is that a dead Stingray?

Justice Department Lifts Secrecy Veil On Cell Phone Tracking “Stingrays” – BuzzFeed News http://www.buzzfeed.com/salvadorhernandez/department-of-justice-lifts-secrecy-veil-on-cell-phone-track#.pcmwXkyv5

Documents obtained by BuzzFeed News show local law enforcement agencies have purchased the devices at a cost of about $400,000 to $500,000 — with some, like the Long Beach Police Department — asking for specific alterations.

Those specifics changes were redacted in documents obtained by BuzzFeed News.

the Stingray used in a robbery involving a BB gun and $130 of pot.

And though departments often cite terrorism prevention and homeland security to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars for the devices, and tens of thousands for software upgrades, they are often used for regular investigations.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, for example, used the device five times in 2011. The following year, it was used 44 times.

By 20I4, the device was deployed 104 times.

From 2011 to June 18, 2015, the department has used cell-site simulators a total of 323 times, that they will admit.

But where is the tracking device that tracks the tracker?

Trust us, they say, again.

Do you ever get the feeling that you’re on the Truman Show? No? Oh.

Never mind then.

But put this in the for “what it’s worth department”: I wrote about grey vans, slimjims, Stingrays, Long Beach, and Los Angeles just last week, and, a few weeks before that.

And if you have been reading along, you will recall that I mentioned special capacities of the Stingray, and talked a bit about where my phone signal was routed a few weeks back ( months now?)

And, only a select handful of people in “my” world would get this- but note that this story above came out on the 3rd of September.

And, for those of you who are following along from the beginning- yeah, finish this phrase:

” Why does everything I write about today, get written about___________?”

NOTE TO SELF: notice what is NOT in the picture that the DOJ is painting?

They leave out the fact that they are who kicks a lead to local departments in the first place. after that huge 10 year head start they, and others gave themselves while they were using these exact technologies, and creating ” dream cases” that would generate PR for their pet projects.

So, also, notice the heirarchy of the full conspiracy:

“”If the Anaheim Police Department learns that a District Attorney, prosecutor, or a court is considering or intends to use or provide any information concerning the Harris Corporation wireless collection equipment/technology (…) Anaheim Police Department will immediately notify the FBI in order to allow sufficient time for the FBI to intervene.”

And finally, note how many little fish get caught in their web of entrapment:

“In Tallahassee, a judge ordered police to reveal information about the Stingray used in a robbery involving a BB gun and $130 of pot. Instead of talking about the technology, authorities offered the defendant a plea deal.”
